Along with animations, making videos and audio shows has been an on-again off-again hobby of mine. Whether it’s next to a microphone, in front or behind the camera, making things like this is a fun way to get friends together and do something creative.
Gyamball – Episode 2
2009
Directed by myself
Gyamball was a gameshow that gave contestants the opportunity to win anything they wanted, but they had to risk something of their own. In the two shows we filmed we got to destroy a laptop and a DVD player. Though editted with Windows Movie Maker, I’m quite proud of how the overall project turned out.

The Assassins Guild Documentary

At Leeds University I’m a member of the Assassins Guild, a society where we play a continuous game of mock assassinations. In this documentary I played myself and take the viewer through an attempt of an assassination.

We Interrupt This Programme
2007
Directed by Sean Friswell
Sean Friswell’s ‘Final Major Project’ (FMP) at Shrewsbury College saw me taking on numerous roles for this spoof zombie film. Starting the film I play Ken Foree, newsreader, explaining the basis of the scenario, but as the film progresses you see me take on different roles in different environments. Unfortunately the full and complete video is not available online yet, however a three part ‘almost there’ version is available.

Zombie Attack
2007
Directed by Sean Friswell
Set in a time where zombies roaming was natural and the population had become used to it, this dialogueless short was one of my favourites to make with Sean. My character didn’t have a name, as this was almost a spin off of the Zombie Survival Guide. In fact, that’s how it got filmed I think. I think we were waiting for something (weather to clear probably) and we just picked up the camera and carried on in the house. Kudos for the awesome camera angles.

Zombie Survival Guide
2007
Directed by Sean Friswell
Filmed in Harlescott in Shrewsbury, Weapons and Survival Expert Robert Kirkman shows you how to protect yourself in a current zombie crisis. Playing Kirkman was a lot of fun and because I’d worked as an activity instructor I was (hopefully) able to get accross good instruction to our (fictional) watchers. We had many different endings planned for this, as well as many bloops >_<.

Georgina and Creep’s Show
2006
Lanton Entertainment
For this radio play I’d originally auditioned for the part of Clive Von Winkelpicker, but even though I didn’t get it I stayed on the forum (as it is a pretty cool site). In show three I had a part written for me on the show as Bob Funfish, reporter at the Rock Paper Scissors World Cup. I felt really privaledged as this was my first proper voice acting role.

Comic Sans
2006
Directed by myself
Starring Ted Bennett, Simon Withers
During my time at Shrewsbury College of Art & Technology I had the idea of making a horror film about the well known font ‘Comic Sans’. I did have a lot of fun trying to explain to the fishing shop on the market why I needed some maggots, and even more fun trying to get rid of them at the end of the filming.
