Boys Are Back In Town (Girls Too, Obviously)

So the long spring break is coming to an end in Universities in Japan and that means the cold and lonesome hallways of Konan University are ready and waiting for another year of study. Today was the 入学式 (nyuugakushiki, school entrance ceremony) so the site was packed with students, new and old. As new students wandered around with maps trying to work out where the important places are (like the co-op), older students were able to give a helping hand as well as try to get new members to sign up to their clubs/circles. This is of course great news for us exchange students who are living in a dorm as now we have more opportunities to practice our spoken Japanese during the day.

Thank goodness!
